 only 2 challenges for you.

We will have one theme challenge 

and one sketch challenge

Both challenges are open to cards and layouts!

before we get on with the challenge

 let me introduce you to our new

design team member

Και εμείς χαλαρά αυτό τον μήνα,
έχουμε μόνο δύο προκλήσεις για σας!
Θα έχουμε μία πρόκληση με θέμα, και το άλλο με σκετς,
που είναι ανοιχτό είτε για κάρτες, είτε για συνθέσεις.
Αλλά πρώτα θέλουμε να σας συστήσουμε
μία καινούργια μέλος της ομάδας μας.

Elina Katechi

Elina....aka mother scrapper, 

as my blog title says I am a mum to two beautiful energetic boys ages 6 and 3

 and I am addicted to scrapbooking!

The addiction began in October 2009

 when I bought my first scrapbooking supplies 

and thus began my first attempts at scrapbooking and card making...

and I have not looked back!

I would say my style is vintage and romantic

 but I don't limit myself to one style, 

I experiment with every photograph and adapt accordingly!

It is a great honour for me to be a part of the talented Get Creative Design team,

 I hope you will like my creations and even that they inspire you!! 

Γεια σας! Είμαι η Ελίνα (…Mother scrapper…) 

και όπως δηλώνει και ο τίτλος του Blog μου,   

εκτός από μητέρα δυο λατρεμένων και γεμάτων ενέργεια αγοριών,    

6 και 3 ετών περίπου, είμαι πλέον και εθισμένη scrapbooker!

Από τον Οκτώβρη του 2009 που ξεκίνησα τις πρώτες μου  αγορές υλικών, 

άρχισα και τις προσπάθειες για δημιουργία συνθέσεων και καρτών 

και από τότε δεν έχω σταματήσει! Ούτε τις αγορές ούτε τη δημιουργία!!!

Ως ρομαντική ψυχή προτιμώ τις vintage και ρομαντικές συνθέσεις, 

με λουλουδάκια, δαντέλες πεταλουδίτσες και παλ χρώματα, 

χωρίς αυτό να σημαίνει ότι οι δημιουργίες μου περιορίζονται σε αυτό το στυλ. 

Προσαρμόζομαι ανάλογα με τις φωτογραφίες που διαθέτω , τα υλικά και τη διάθεση μου.

Το να είμαι στην  δημιουργική και γεμάτη ταλαντούχα κορίτσια, 

ομάδα του Get Creative είναι μεγάλη τιμή για μένα   

και κυρίως κίνητρο για να γίνω καλύτερη και να μοιραστώ τις ιδέες μου!

Ελπίζω από τις δημιουργίες μου να εμπνευστείτε και να βρείτε

στοιχεία που να ταιριάζουν στο στυλ και το γούστο σας!

Here is what our talented design team made:

Alex used the Pied DePoul for the background and the butterfly.

Channa

Channa used the Pied DePoul and the Taxidi Bingo card.

Joanna used the Pied DePoul paper.

Marie cleverly made here cover with acetate using the Pied DePoul as a frame 

and used the orange polka dot in the background!

Olga used the flower alphabets.

Melenia has used the pattern paper Pied Depoul.

Eleni

Eleni used the patterned papers: Pied Depoul, Orange polka dot, and bingo card.

 

We wanted to update you that unfortunately Livia has stepped down from our design team, as she has been appointed to a new job in another city and will be away from the scrap scene for a while.  We are excited about her news and wish her well in her new job.

Δυστυχώς η Livia δεν μπορεί να είναι στο DT πλέον, γιατί διορίστηκε σε καινούργια πόλη, και θα αφήσει για λίγο το χόμπι της ... Της ευχόμαστε κάθε επιτυχία στη καινούργια της ζωή!

Our thoughts are also with Irini Liolia and her family, 

whose  father-in-law is seriously ill 

in hospital at the moment!

Επίσης, οι σκέψεις μας είναι με την Ειρήνη και την οικογενεια της.

Ο πεθερός της, είναι σοβαρά άρρωστος στο νοσοκομείο.

Κουράγιο & περαστικά τους ευχόμαστε!

July 10th.....Eudokias Cherry Nest project

As you all know this July

the design team have been working with products sponsored by 

Cherry Nest

So Eudokia creatively designed and made these stylish tags 

for your luggage

aren't they fabulous??!!

Γειά σας!!!Τί μου κάνετε; ελπίζω να είστε καλά και να έχετε πάει κάποιο ταξιδάκι ή να ετοιμάζεστε!!Αν ετοιμάζεστε,πριν φτιάξετε τη βαλίτσα σας φροντίστε για αυτήν!Τί εννοώ; Όλοι ξέρουμε πόσο άσχημο είναι να περιμένεις τη βαλίτσα σου από τον ιμάντα και να σου την έχει πάρει κάποιος άλλο γιατί νόμιζε πως ήταν δική του!!!Φτιάξτε λοιπόν ωραιότατα μεγάλα tags με τα στοιχεία σας για να είστε σίγουροι!!Εγώ έφτιαξα τα δικά μου με προιόντα cherry nest και χρησιμοποίησα κυρίως τις κάρτες bingo!

1.Πρώτα ξεκίνησα και έκοψα από πολύ χοντρό χαρτόνι ένα tag,καθώς και τη λέξη ΤΑΞΙΔΙ από την κάρτα και ένα κομμάτι χαρτί επίσης cherry nest.

1. To make these tags , you need to cut a tag from chipboard!

Cut a tag to cover the chipboard from the Cherry Nest pattern paper Pied Depoul

then cut the title from the Travel bingo card.

2.Έπειτα κόλλησα τα χαρτιά μου,διακόσμησα, έγραψα τα στοιχεία μου και τοποθέτησα το tag μου σε μια πλαστική ζελατίνη που βρήκα στο βιβλιοπωλείο ώστε να είναι προφυλαγμένο αφού οι βαλίτσες ταλαιπωρούνται!(οι ζελατίνες είναι από αυτές που βάζουμε μέσα τις ταυτότητες!)

2. Once you have assembled the tag, place it into a plastic pocket.

3.Τέλος,τρυπάω το cropadile και περνάω ένα πριτσίνι και ένα λουλούδι

3. Continue decorating your tag by adding and eyelet and a flower.

4...και έτοιμο!

4.......the finished tag!!

Άλλο ένα με άλλο χρώμα...
1.Ντύνω πάλι με το χαρτί μου.

Here is another tag in another colour.

Here Eudokia had used the rest of the bingo card

2.Στολίζω...

Some Washi tape and some staples....

3.βάζω σε ζελατίνη,τρυπάω και έτοιμο!!

Place in a plastic pocket add your eyelet and you are ready!!!!
